How do I invite someone to an appointment in my Soverin Suite calendar?
Create an appointment in the Calendar app and add the people you want to invite under Participants. Follow these 13 steps:
Log in to Soverin Suite.
Open the apps menu at the top and select Calendar.
Click + Event in the top-left corner to create a new appointment. In a narrow window, the button text may be shortened.
Give the appointment a clear title, such as Project meeting.
Set the start date and time under From.
Set the end date and time under To.
Optionally, add a location and description, such as where the appointment will take place and what participants need to prepare.
Check that the correct calendar is selected, such as Personal. Use a calendar you own and can create appointments in.
Click More details to open the full appointment editor.
Go to Participants. Scroll down if necessary.
Enter the email address of the person you want to invite in the search field. You can also search for a user or contact.
Click the correct result below the search field. Check the email address before selecting it. Then make sure the person appears in the participants list. Repeat this step if you want to invite multiple people.
Check the title, date, time, location, and participants. Then click Save.
The appointment is now saved. If email invitations are enabled, the added participant will receive an invitation by email. The recipient can respond to the invitation.
Additional appointment settings
Is the appointment an all-day event? Check All day.
If you're inviting participants from other countries, check the time zone. In the Netherlands, this is Europe/Amsterdam.
You'll appear as the organizer. This means the participant count may already show 1 before you add anyone.
Simply entering an email address in the search field isn't enough. You must select the person from the search results.
