Create an account

Creating an account starts with choosing an email address.

An email address via Soverin always uses your own unique domain name. The domain name is and remains yours. This means you retain control and can always take your email address with you, without losing anything.

What is a domain name?

Your domain name is everything that comes after the @ in your email address. The last part—after the dot—is called the extension. In our domain overview you can see which extensions we support. The part before the @ is your username, such as your (first) name, info or sales.
Creating a domain name does not automatically mean you need a website. Your domain name works perfectly fine without one.

You can create an account with a domain name you already own or you can choose a new domain name and register it directly with Soverin.

Create Account

You create an account via: https://my.soverin.net/register

The first step is to choose an email address. Based on your choice, we will indicate whether:

  1. The domain name is available for registration

  2. or if it already exists.

If you want to use an existing domain name that you manage, tick 'This is my domain'. If the domain name is not in your possession, you cannot use it for your email address.

Choose number of mailboxes

Once you have chosen an email address, you can indicate whether you want more than one email address on this domain name. If you choose multiple email addresses, you can create multiple names before the @ on the same domain name, each with its own mailbox. Handy, for example, for a company or a family. You can also add mailboxes later via your account.
